“Lonely Planet” is a friendly planet!

After much time and effort put into a project I have worked on for a while I’m happy to say it is getting the recognition it deserves. It wasn’t easy considering the Lodge is off a small beach town, across an estuary, through vegetation and along an uncrowded beach in remote Nicaragua. Needless to say, when I picked up the latest Lonely Planet’s “Nicaragua” handbook I was thrilled to see they had heard about us (might be due to the constant harassment on my part, or as I like to call “effective marketing push!”) and paid us a visit and were very happy with what they saw:

“a good chance you’ll stay here…like forever.”
“one of the coolest spots in all of Central America”
